Requirements for an RT Presence on the Club Homepage

(Excerpt from the Organization Handbook)

For each Regional Group (RT), a dedicated section has been set up on the “collective” homepage, which is independent of the main Club Homepage.

The content is maintained and expanded by the RT leaders themselves, via their internet representatives. Each RT can create any number of its own pages, posts, and image galleries there to showcase RT activities. The guidelines from the handbook must be observed.

At a minimum, the following must be present:

  • Page(s) introducing the RT officials (with contact details and photos; the RT leadership’s email address is always rtxx@107sl-club.de with forwarding to their personal email address).
  • Page with the date and location of monthly meetings (see “Dates” below).
  • Page with all event dates for the RT from the event calendar.

These details on the standardized interface provided by the Club are mandatory for every RT.

Further, voluntary information:

Reports on excursions, events, photo collections, etc., as an extension of the presence within the provided interface.

Not permitted is:

  • Restricting access to certain areas of this RT’s own homepage with an RT-specific password.
  • Advertising on the RT’s own homepage or links to commercial providers.

Dates

All events must be entered into the admin area of the event database; they will then be automatically transferred to the corresponding pages set up in WordPress.

Access to the event database must be requested via the IT Board.

Entering dates into the event database is important so that they can be included in the supra-regional display on the Club Homepage. Entry into the event database makes every event a Club event and is a prerequisite for insurance coverage.

Regional Group’s Own Websites

It is not desired that Regional Groups of our Club operate additional independent websites.

The Board reserves the right to prohibit the operation of RT’s own websites that do not meet the above conditions, violate the club’s statutes, express political opinions, or publish content that is detrimental to the club, offensive, or otherwise criminally relevant.
