Technical

How do you get technical help from the club?

Our club offers a wide range of information options regarding technical matters.
Here is an overview:

(Please note the liability disclaimer below)

Regional Meetings

Our Regional Meetings (RTs) support all members and prospective members with advice and assistance through their technical officers and technically enthusiastic members.

The Club’s Technical Encyclopedia (Collection Folder):

A collection of all technical reports and tips from the 107 KLASSIK magazine, sorted by MB component groups (see “component group overview”). The print version of the Technical Encyclopedia is available for club members in the Club Shop.

The Technical Encyclopedia is not intended to replace workshop literature, but to supplement it with practical tips!

The Technical List (Email List)

Technical questions that cannot be answered in the encyclopedia are answered by club technicians and colleagues in the club’s email list.

Please note: anyone who has signed up for the technical list will receive all emails sent to the list, including all questions and answers.

Technical Inquiries

A service for all club members – the technical expertise within the club.

No more signing up for mailing lists or wondering “who does what…?”. No size limits for attachments (images, etc.).

At the email address: technikanfrage@107sl-club.de

you can tap into the club’s collective technical knowledge. This reaches everyone in the club who is willing and able to provide technical input.

An inquiry must strictly include clear technical questions that clearly describe the existing problem on the 107.

The WIS DVD (Workshop Information System)

The WIS documents (formerly a DVD, currently no longer available from Mercedes-Benz Classic) contain information on the following topics and excerpts can be provided to club members upon request:
