R134a
With the new EU regulations, the availability of R134a will be increasingly restricted in the coming years. For many owners of older vehicles, this will likely mean rising maintenance and repair costs. At the same time, there are significant uncertainties regarding permissible conversions and alternative refrigerants. This potentially affects several million vehicles currently in use. Attached is the current information sheet including the ADAC position.
Registration for the Mechanics’ Autumn Meet 2026
Dear participants interested in this year’s Mechanics’ Autumn Meet in Schwäbisch Gmünd. You’ve come to the right place to register for our October gathering.
The final registration link for the Mechanics’ Autumn Meet and registration materials will be made available HERE without a password starting Saturday, June 13, 2026.
As with the annual meeting, I want to ensure that members who receive the magazine a bit later also have a chance to register.

Number of members up to 30 years old tripled since project launch in 2021
Award ceremony on November 22, 2025 at the FIVA General Assembly in Brazil
The Mercedes-Benz R/C 107 SL-Club Deutschland e.V. is the proud winner of the FIVA Culture Award 2025 in the Dedicated Service category.
The success speaks for itself: Our U30 membership has tripled since the project launched in 2021.

Classic Car World Federation FIVA Recognizes Pioneering Youth Work by ADAC Corporate Club
Mercedes-Benz R/C 107 SL-Club Deutschland honored.
Program tailored to young target audience wins approval.
Number of members under 30 tripled.
TÜV approval for LED lights with certification forR and C 107 with European original headlights – click for the report!
Technical details for the approval:
– Certification for R and C 107 with European original headlights
– (not yet) approved for US headlights or replicas. There is no timeline for this yet
– the classic car H-registration is not affected by this! (TÜV approval confirmed)
– officially, no LED parking light bulbs are yet approved to mask the color difference.
You can use ultra-white conventional bulbs as an alternative.
We are currently trying to include corresponding white parking light bulbs in our product range.
– Light output significantly higher than the previous H4 Nightbreaker, approximately 3x…
– very good glare-free light distribution for low beam, plus optimal high beam
– thermal issues are not a concern because power consumption is only around 50% of H4
The Digital ClubCard is Available in the Club Lounge
What advantages does the digital Mercedes-Benz ClubCard offer club members:
1. The digital Mercedes-Benz ClubCard is completely free for club members.
2. The digital Mercedes-Benz ClubCard is accessible online at any time (also via smartphone and other digital devices).
3. The digital Mercedes-Benz ClubCard features an individual QR code.
With this, club members have free admission to the Mercedes-Benz Museum and no longer need a separate admission ticket.
This means no waiting in line at the ticket counter.
Simply place the QR code via smartphone on the card reader at the turnstile.
What do I need to do as a club member to get the new digital Mercedes-Benz ClubCard?
– We provide the new digital ClubCard free of charge – in your personal account in the password-protected Mercedes-Benz ClubLounge
– Thus, every member registered in the membership database automatically receives a digital ClubCard
– As a club member, you do not need to do anything to receive the digital ClubCard.
Information on discounts at Mercedes-Benz dealerships & Mercedes-Benz authorized partners
If a Mercedes-Benz dealership or Mercedes-Benz authorized partner offers discounts on spare parts for club members, valid membership in a Mercedes-Benz brand club must be verified.
